We were in town for a cheer competition. We stayed at the Sheraton and wanted something within walking distance of the hotel for dinner. My husband seen BBQ and that’s all it took. It was extremely busy, and there was a pretty decent size wait. Huge cheer competition in town and nice weather so to us it was expected. They had no clue of the competition. Our server told us he was busy from the time they opened, and I heard him telling the staff he hadn’t had a break since the morning when he started. Though our wait was long, and they were just about out of everything, our service was impeccable. Being in the service industry I know how it feels to be understaffed, and overwhelmed. On a busy , unexpected day it might not seem like it’s worth the wait, but just for the service alone I assure you it is. We will be back the next time we are in Columbus. Also the manager made every accommodation she could, and that was greatly appreciated!! Thank you all.

Had an absolutely delicious late lunch/early dinner at Pecan Penny’s. We aren’t from Columbus and have a nationally known barbecue place in the city we’re from. Pecan Penny’s is definitely a great spot. The atmosphere is fun, the workers are super nice, and the pulled pork and ribs are amazing.
