We stayed at this beautiful hotel and the trip was great UNTIL the valet pulled up our car in the middle of the busy street in front and exited the vehicle with the hazards turned on (in traffic and not in the curb lane). He simply got out and left us to safely get in with our luggage and pull away while holding up traffic. I am sure this is on hotel video. At our first stop we noticed minor damage to our front bumper and called the hotel right away. The valet manager Amanda took the report and assured us the damage would be taken care of promptly (claim in 5-7 days). Two weeks later we get a letter from LAZ parking stating we should have reported any damage to our car before leaving and they will not cover the damage. This is not fair! How are we to inspect your car while parked in an ongoing lane of traffic??? The car was professionally detailed a week prior to this claim and hand washed the day of our hotel arrival. We are Marriott Platinum members with ZERO issues previously reported.
