Thursday, March 26, 2020 | 6:30 p.m.
CCAD Canzani Center Auditorium | 60 Cleveland Ave.

Under the leadership of President Melanie Corn, CCAD has adopted a new focus on the intersection of healthy creativity and creative excellence. To be at their best, artists and designers need more than simply technical skill and conceptual prowess—they also need balance and the tools to be mentally, financially, and physically strong. That’s of critical importance, especially among members of Gen Z, who report increasing levels of stress and anxiety.

As part of this focus on healthy creativity, CCAD has invited Los Angeles–based artist Ryan “Yanoe” Sarfati for a conversation with Dr. Corn. Sarfati will discuss his evolution from a graffiti artist to one working in the fine arts and providing commercial work for such clients as Apple, Facebook, Google, Headspace, Netflix, Nike, and Urban Decay. He’ll share how he uses tools such as meditation and sobriety to support his rigorous practice and maintain physical and emotional health. Event is made possible with promotional support from the Short North Alliance.

This event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Get your tickets today at ccad.edu/yanoe.
