Dance-film is the marriage of dance and film language — not just a recording of a dance, but a cinematic reimagining of dance’s possibilities...work that can only exist on the screen. DANCE@30FPS (frames per second) is an international festival of dance-film presented by the Department of Dance and screened at the Wexner Center for the Arts. The festival has shown work from filmmakers the world over, but the premier criteria is work of unbridled imagination — bold, original and honest.
