Join us for an evening stroll along the Civic Center and Scioto Mile to admire the classical features of our beautiful riverfront. The devastating Great Flood of 1913 gave rise to iconic architecture and we’ll explore the public art and stories that make up the heart of Columbus. Tour is approximately 90 minutes and will be co-led by Doreen Uhas Sauer and Tom Betti, authors of local history books including Historic Hotels of Columbus, Historic Columbus Taverns, and Columbus Neighborhoods. Following the tour, Tom and Doreen will stop for a drink nearby and you are welcome to join them to continue the conversation! Drinks are on your own and not included in ticket price. We will meet at the SW corner of Broad & High.
