Celebrate Pearl Market Style

By Melissa Fast | 27 Jun, 2017

Fourth of July festivities will be here before you know it, and there’s no need to stress over party prep with Pearl Market a quick walk or CBUS ride away. When we cruised through last week, we checked off quite a few items from the shopping list. Okay, so we added a few more, too. Keep reading to find out what kinds of things you’ll be able to check off your must-have July 4th party list and take a chance to win some Pearl Market freebies.

Usually, when you think about throwing a party, you concentrate on food first. Don’t worry, we’ll get there, but we thought you might want to treat yourself a little first. Stop on by LuLa Roe or the Sweater Lady for some breezy summer outfits that will keep you keep cool in even the hottest weather. Oh, and if you want to give yourself a mini-spa experience before the party, stop by Mer-Llama for some handmade bath products.

Are you assigned sweets for Red, White and BOOM! parties? You’ll have more than a few bakers to choose from in the Market. It’s a safe bet that 8 Sisters Bakery, Sweet Cheese and Yvonne’s Cookies will have holiday-themed treats, but don’t forget the savory pleasures like pepperoni bread from Great Harvest or pizza crust, rolls and more (including gluten-free, allergen-free options) from Soodles.

If you want to keep things on the healthy side, try a cucumber or zucchini salad. Fornoff Farms brings bins of both, and you can grab a bouquet of fresh flowers while you’re there.

We’ve only scraped the surface on the cool finds in Pearl Market that will make your life easier during party celebrations. Remember, Pearl Market will be closed on Fourth of July, but you still have plenty of time on today and Friday this week to fill your shopping bag. Click on through to our Facebook page and let us know what your favorite Pearl Market find is, and you’ll be entered to win $10 in free shopping tokens.
